The Pedro Espada Investigation continues to uncover more unsavory, and apparentlyillegal activity going on in Western NY. And surprise, surprise Steve Pigeon is at the heart of it all.
But that’s old news, the breaking news today is that Pedro Espada is getting legal counsel for his State Senate office and his personal companies from a Republican Councilman in Westchester, Mr. Richard St. Paul.
Why would a Bronx Democrat hire a Republican councilman to be his attorney, the person that knows all your personal business? Could it be because of Steve Pigeon, who happens to be a close ally of Republican State Senator George Maziarz! Let’s not forget that Maziarz played a KEY role in last summer’s senate coup in which the Republican recruited Espada and Monserrate.
Remember earlier this week it was reported in the Buffalo news that state election records show that one of Espada’s company’s made a $1,000 campaign contribution to Senator Maziarz.
Todays Niagara Gazette reports that the Espada investsiagtion is reallyturning the heat up on Gary Parenti's family business -- looks like Pigeon and his long time partner in crime Gary Parenti are in some really hot water. And the collateral damage may be the reputation of his father’s Accounting firm, which also is operated by his brother.
