Today, Liz Benjamin the NY Daily News Blogger reported that Senator Maziarz is holding a fundraiser and the headliner is Majority leader Pedro Espada. I think the following quote from Vladimir Lenin, Leader of the Russian Revolution of 1917 sums this up well..
“There are no morals in politics; there is only expedience. A scoundrel may be of use to us just because he is a scoundrel.”

and it gets better, Liz has updated her blog posting, apparently the left hand doesn't know what the right one is doing b/c Espada is now trying to distance himself saying he never OK'd his name to be used for any event for Maziarz. WOW to be rebuffed by a double crosser, tax cheat, campaign finance scofflaw is almost as bad as being called a "caveman" by Governor paterson.
