Last night I posted a simple question on the
Brennan Centers
blog about their recent report. As of 4:00pm today, they haven’t posted my question. Here was my question to them:
I would like to know how you guys do your research in New York and other states.
Do you actually attend meetings (sessions, committee meetings, etc.) in NY and other states? When I typed out my question, I found out that comments on the Brennan Center blog need to be approved by the editor before they are posted. So this group is screaming for transparency by the legislature, but they feel they must screen comments to their blog. And when someone asks about their research, they just ignore the comment. It really gives the Brennan Center a lot of credibility when they block comments.
What an impressive group.

The report contains 95 source citations and a two page description of its research methodology (pg 33 + 34).

Maybe you should actually read the report.

imho, what the brennan center had of didn't have in the report is secondary to the totally hypocritical blog-comment censorship thing.
aren't they the big free speech people?
why can't they deal with harmless questions?
