Just nod if you can hear me...
Well, our open government responsive reformer has ignored me this time – rather than answer questions I didn’t ask and not respond to questions he didn’t like.
On July 1st I asked Mr. Transparency this about one of his key supporters:
Hi Paul
Is it really true that Elizabeth Crothers is a regular contributor to Free Republic.
Carl
Again, each time I email Paul I ask fewer questions and use fewer words in hopes of actually getting an answer to my actual question.
Elizabeth has her own political consulting shop in California– which is fine. But, I have to wonder, does The Albany Project (a major supporter of Newell) know that Progressive Paul's major backer is a political consultant that is a regular "Freeper" (Free Republic contributor– an ultra conservative blog)?
A 'freeper'? What on earth is a supposed progressive doing with a freeper? This guy will do anything to get elected. I don't like the way he is using women, from this young lady to older women he call 'cougars'. Not good. Not Assemblyman like at all.

This is the sum total reason why they will not answer you pal, they can't answer for why they are associated with an extreme conservative. They say politics makes for strange bedfellows. In this case very strange. This guy Newell is no reformer, he's just like all the rest. You have to draw the line somewhere, the enemy of my enemy is not always a friend, especially if it's a freeper. Aren't freeper's anti Obama???

You should send Newell an email and ask if hge agrees with this statement from the freeper thread:
"The US is overrun by Third World invaders, calculatedly organizing into a latino voting bloc. Corrupt illegals know all the tricks: infiltrating US agencies, bribing US officials, buying forged/fraudulent documents, drivers licenses, multiple stolen IDs, fraudulently registering to vote in several precincts; illegally voting absentee then voting several times in different precincts."
