) has asked some very intriguing questions that I think you should answer.  From the Room8 Blogger:

Here's three simple, easily understood questions that somebody should ask Patty Ritchie:

--Now that you've won the court case to remain on Carl Paladino's "Taxpayers Party" ballot line, do you still support him? And if not, will you relinquish the Taxpayers line in November?

--Since Fort Drum is within the 48th Senate District--and given Carl Paladino's characterization of African-Americans as savages and racial epithet fodder--how will you explain your support for Paladino to the decorated black soldiers returning to Fort Drum from combat in Afghanistan?

--Given Carl Paladino's demonstrated affection for internet pornography, how would you tell your granddaughter that you supported a man who habitually traffics in sexual imagery that includes somebody else's granddaughter engaged in sex acts with a horse?

These are three questions that people like Patty Richie cannot or will not ever, ever answer.  But they should be politically compelled to.

DaBrinker Reaches out to Carl Paladino -- A Week Later

What is Carl Paladino afraid of?  Why won't he answer simple questions about his military career?  Below is what I sent to the Paladino campaign:

I'm still trying to figure this guy out.  Here are two interviews with Paladino that were recently posted.  I've re-posted snippets of the interviews, but you should read both in their entirety. 

Interview with Josh Robin

JP: “…Do you think Shelly Silver is like Hitler?”

CP: “I think Shelly Silver is a despicable person. OK? And that I stick with…You see the political correctness nonsense is gone. It doesn’t exist anymore. Because the people find that totally unacceptable…It’s a way of inhibiting people from saying and doing the right thing.”

Paladino talks about putting Silver “in one of those Roman cages, OK, so that people can see the guy who has tormented New York State for the last 15 years while he’s been the majority leader of the, the speaker of the Assembly. This man is not good.”

Interview with NGD

NGD: Switching topics again, what's your relationship with Tom Golisano like?

CP: We share somebody.

NGD: Who?

CP: His name's Steve Pigeon.

NGD: Most people think you share Pigeon with Pedro Espada.

CP: I do...it's long story that's about to get shorter.  Anyway, I also tell Tommy whenever I see him he oughta lay off the scotch and bimbos--he's looking like a beached whale at Christmastime these days. [Paladino bursts out laughing.]

One thing is for sure, Carl Paladino is entertaining.

Finance Committee Chairman Scott Gray says: I STILL Really Suck as a Leader

Almost a year ago, the Jefferson County Finance Chairman showed his lack of leadership.  Here we go again.  Scott has been the chairman of finance for -- I'm guessing here-- 6 years.  And now he's claiming he JUST discovered that Jefferson County is sitting on a fund balance of $30 million dollars - according to WDT. This raises all sorts of questions.

How does the Chairman of the Finance Committee not know about this fund?  Does he not read the budget or take an actual look at the county's finances?  And JBJ has his paper hammering away on this issue not once but twice.  Funny how JBJ fails to mention that as Chairman, Scott should have been aware of this fund.  Is JBJ shilling for Scott or is Scott shilling for JBJ?

Based on various WDT stories and board meetings --my guess is that Scott doesn't like how a certain vote is shaping up and he's using this fund balance story to distract his colleagues. A Red Herring. 

And I thought Scott was behaving himself after he walked away from his blog, Political IV.

Pigeon Droppings in Primary Challenge to Senator Stachowski: Let's go to the video tape

The artvoice has a great story about a meeting with Steve Pigeon, Erie County Legislator Tim Kennedy (who's challenging Sen. Stachowski in a primary), Mayor Byron Browns deputy Mayor, Steve Casey, JAck O'Donnell and  life long Pigeon lackey Gary Parenti. (video below via artvoice)

Funny thing is Byron Brown is considered to be on Andrew Cuomo's short list for Lt. Governor.  I wonder if Cuomo knows that Brown's right hand guy, Steve Casey continues to be close to Pigeon and is meeting with people who can threaten the fragile democratic majority in the State Senate?

real question is why would a potential candidate want to be meeting with Pigeon and Parenti at a time when they are being investigated by the Feds, Cuomo and the IRS???  

Ya gotta think that maybe just maybe Piegon and Parenti might be wired

Steve LEVY ducking reporters on "racist" editorial in Suffolk paper

Weekly Newspapers in Suffolk are being blasted forRACISTS images/editoral of President Obama and first lady Michelle Obama – see for yourself . 

 
 

The publusher P&S Newspaper group has long been one of Suffolk counties dirty little political secrets - known to many as the "Republican Newsletter"  It's ties to the Republican Political machine in Suffolk is well know in poltical and government circles.  They publish the Smithtown Messenger, Ronkonkoma Review, Brookhaven Review, Medford News

 

During the political season these newspapers begin to show their true colors by running pro Republican stories only.  In addition they are used to level negative attacks and political drive by’s on anyone willing to challgenge the republican machine.  But this gets better, the publisher usually shakes down candidates by requiring them to purchase newspaper ads in exchange for editorial endorsements

 

Now it appears that these guys have crossed the line and it's been revealed that P&S Newspaper group has donated tens of thousands of dollars to the Republican party in Suffolk and Republican candidates.

 

Now we know why not a single republican has condemned this picture/editorial  

--NOT even STEVE LEVY.

Would You Hire Ritchie?

  I wouldn't hire anyone based on the resume I posted yesterday.  But our favorite County Clerk actually sent that resume to Republican Committee Members in St. Lawrence County asking for their support.   You would think that  someone that writes up official documents for a living might actually be able to produce a decent resume.  Even if she didn't need to create a resume during her 24 years of working for the government, you'd think she would do a quick search for samples of resumes to see how to write one.

This resume tells me one thing.  Patty doesn't feel that applying for a job as our Senator deserves enough effort to write a decent resume.  So does she really think she deserves our vote?
